We took a break from developing the new line to put our efforts towards making the holiday season sparkling and bright. Take a look at a few of the items we doused with our creative juices over the past month.

Instead of buying the normal stick-on bows for our gifts this year, we did a bit of creative recycling. We gathered all the red and green scrap fabric we could find. Add a hefty dose of ric-rak, buttons, and other random adornments, and you've got an upcycled Christmas. These were such a hit with our families that we actually caught relatives digging through the trash to save ones that were tossed away in the gift unwrapping mayhem. Who says recycled can't be beautiful?

Normally our creativity sticks to items of the crafty variety, but every now and again, the baking bug will bite us. Fueled by a looming work-related cookie contest and inspired by a post from Bakerella, the Happy Meal cookies were born.

We're happy to report these babies snagged the Best in Show 2009 award at the contest. I love getting rewarded for just having some creative fun.
Now that we've had the chance to step outside the mightyfine design confines, we're excited to get our collective nose back to the grindstone. It's crunch time for the Spring 2010 line, expect some previews in the coming weeks.
